Actress NICOLE ARI PARKER is best-known for having dazzled viewers for years in the outstanding portrayal of Teri Joseph of Showtime's award-winning original series "Soul Food." She has displayed her acting range in several blockbuster films such as Touchstone Picture's Remember the Titans with Denzel Washington and Welcome Home, Roscoe Jenkins with Martin Lawrence. She also starred in Boogie Nights with Mark Wahlberg and, opposite Taye Diggs, in Fox Searchlight's Brown Sugar. In the summer of 2009, Nicole starred opposite Eddie Murphy in Paramount Picture's Imagine That as well as in Pastor Brown. She has also been featured in many independent films like 200 Cigarettes, Loving Jezebel, Subway Stories, and Sebastian Cole, a winner at the 1999 Sundance Film Festival.

Nicole has an extensive background in theatre having performed in numerous off-Broadway productions like "Chicago," "House of Lear," and "Romeo and Juliet." She won great praise for her critically-acclaimed performance as "Blanche Dubois" in the 2012 run of the Emily Mann directed Tennessee Williams' classic "A Streetcar Named Desire" on Broadway.

She was featured in People magazine with Sophie's Voice Foundation, the charitable organization she started with her husband to raise awareness about children with Spina Bifida, and most recently Nicole and her husband Boris Kojoe launched Strive To Thrive, a consumer platform designed to produce and deliver Health & Wellness content to the community. The couple signed a 2-year deal with BET Networks to deliver their content via TV & Web. Nicole's natural beauty was featured by Oil of Olay in their nationwide special advertising campaign that ran in Vanity Fair, Harper's Bazaar, Elle, and Vogue.

Besides being nominated for seven NAACP Image Awards, Nicole received a special award at the Urban World Film Festival, for Outstanding Body of Work as an Actress, the Renaissance Award for contribution to film, a Trumpet Award, and most recently The 2012 Gold Stevie Award for Entrepreneur of the Year in Consumer Products for the success of her company Save Your Do. Nicole is a graduate of NYU's famed Tisch School of the Arts.
