Born in Budapest-Hungary, Andrea Osvart first garnered attention when she took 2nd place at the national "Look of the Year Competition." She gained a University double degree in Italian literature and language. Fluent in three languages (English, Italian and Hungarian), Andrea began modeling and then moved into commercials before she was cast in a small role by the late Tony Scott, opposite Robert Redford and Brad Pitt in Spy Game. Based in Rome since 2003, Andrea has been working in Europe and North America. Her feature film credits include: Aftershock (USA), Duplicity (USA), Maternity Blues (Italy), The End is My Beginning (Germany/Italy), Poligamy (Hungary), The Valley (Italy/Switzerland/Hungary) while on TV she has been cast as lead actress in the new Transporter TV series (USA-Canada-France-Germany), Visions of Murder (Italy), Die Draufganger (Germany), La donna della domenica (Italy), The Swing Girls (Italy) and Lo scandalo della Banca Romana (Italy).
In 2012 Andrea received both the European Golden Globe award (Globo d'Oro) by the Foreign Press Association of Italy, and the renowned Biraghi Award by the Italian National Syndicate of Film Journalists for her performance in "Maternity Blues", while in 2011 she won the "Best TV Actress" Golden Nymph Award at the International TV Festival of Monte-Carlo, and the Golden Pegasus Prize at the International Flaiano Awards.
