THE PARENT TRAP

PARENTS NOTE:
One scene features a "home made" ear piercing. This is not something most parents will want their kids to try on their own.

PROFANITY: (View Profanity)
There are 6 miscellaneous profanities spoken.

SEX & NUDITY:
None to speak of. A character goes skinny-dipping, but nothing is shown.

DRUGS & ALCOHOL:
Although not much on-screen drinking is shown, one character becomes drunk. The effects of her drinking are used for comedic purposes.

COMEDY:
As one might expect from a family comedy, the intent of THE PARENT TRAP is to be humorous. Some of the comedy works; some doesn't. There's quite a bit of physical slapstick. One character in particular -- the butler -- is consistently funny.

TONE OF MOVIE:
     Family Film/Comedy/Romance.

SPECIAL EFFECTS:
The scenes in which the two twins are together use seamless visual effects (as well as other trick methods) to completely fool us into thinking that more than one actress was involved.

MISC:
For those who are squeamish about such things, there is a scene in which a lizard crawls into a woman's mouth.
