There is one sex scene. Both participants are clothed, and all that we really see is a lot of gyrating for a few seconds. Not especially graphic. There is also a brief shot of a man's bare buttocks.
This is a war film, and, as such, there is a lot of violence. One individual is shot in the neck. There is a scene of decapitation, with the beheaded neck spewing blood. A cow is blown apart by a bomb. Two people are shot in the head. Two others suffer body injuries. And there is a scene of torture where the victim suffers extreme electrical shocks.
|DRUGS & ALCOHOL:|
One scene involving low-key social drinking.
Almost all of the war scenes involve action. There is a chase through the desert, a rescue operation, and a shoot-out.
Three Kings contains a fair share of comedy. Not much of it is of the laugh-aloud variety. Most is what's commonly referred to as gallows humor -- dark and sometimes macabre.
|TONE OF MOVIE:|
War movie with action, a message, and some dark comedy.
The special effects are mostly confined to pyrotechnics -- explosions and the like. There are a couple of interesting shots that show from the inside what happens when someone is hit by a bullet.
There is a lot of gore -- spewing blood, ghastly injuries, etc. There are also shots of dead, decomposing bodies.
