There are two discreet sex scenes with no obvious nudity. While nothing explicit is shown, it's clear what is going on. In one of the sex scenes, the two participants are young teenagers.
The film contains two brief war clips which show characters being shot and struck in hand-to-hand combat. These scenes, although short, are bloody and violent. There is also a scene where an arm is amputated.
