ENEMY AT THE GATES

PROFANITY: (View Profanity)
The F-word is NOT spoken. The S-word is spoken 4 times. God's name is NOT spoken in vain. There are 9 other profanities spoken.

SEX & NUDITY:
Only one sex scene. I thought it was very tastefully done. They try to gain privacy by getting under a cover as they make love while sleeping on the floor between lots of other war weary soldiers. The only nudity is her bottom is shown for a couple seconds as they pull down each others clothes. There is then some slow sexual motions and sounds. It's quite apparent what they are doing. The entire scene lasts a couple minutes.

VIOLENCE:
If you can't handle graphic war killing and bloody death scenes, this movie may not be for you. I believe these war scenes are even more realistic than those in "Saving Private Ryan." There are hundreds of men killed in bloody battles. Many of these deaths are shown up close. All this realism truly added to the believability of the movie.

DRUGS & ALCOHOL:
     None

ACTION:
There are several great war scenes during the first part of the movie. For the last hour and a half it became more of a drama with some suspense and a love story. The action slowed down and consisted mainly of the snipers shooting people. I doubt anyone will feel that it doesn't contain enough action to keep them entertained.

COMEDY:
Only a few mildly funny remarks.

SPECIAL EFFECTS:
The war scenes and the period backgrounds were so incredibly realistic. It really made the movie seem more real.

GORE:
There is a LOT of bloody deaths and dead bodies shown.
