SPIRIT: STALLION OF THE CIMMARON

PROFANITY:
     None

SEX & NUDITY:
     None

VIOLENCE:
I seriously doubt any of the violence would concern parents. The scenes include: a fight between a lion and a horse. It may be a bit scary for kids, but it's not very graphic and there's no blood; the Calvary raids an Indian camp and there is shooting. A horse is shot and falls in a fast moving river; there is threatened violence as the Calvary man chases after them.

DRUGS & ALCOHOL:
     None

ACTION:
There is plenty of action to keep everyone entertained, including even the littlest ones. The type of action should also appeal to most adults. Being a Western type movie the action consists of things like a fight, shooting, and a lot of chases, which are exciting.

COMEDY:
Quite a bit of humor, which is typical and expected in a children's movie. "Spirit" doesn't disappoint. There really isn't some humor targeted to adults and some to children. It's the type of humor that all ages should enjoy. It made me smile 7 times, which isn't a lot, but the audience chuckled 19 times, which is high. They also laughed 4 times.
