THE ALAMO

PROFANITY: (View Profanity)
The S-word is spoken 3 times. There are 15 other profanities spoken.

SEX & NUDITY:
The Mexican General sees a Mexican beauty as he rides into town. Later you see him entering his bedroom and she's on his bed, with a terrified look on her face. She's obviously being forced to be with him, but nothing is shown. He simply closes the door with a smile on his face.

VIOLENCE:
This is obviously a very violent movie with lots of brutal killing. General Santa Anna has some men murdered by firing squad; there are lots of dead soldiers, most are bloody; many men are bayoneted. While the killing is often brutal, I don't believe anyone will feel that it's too graphic.

DRUGS & ALCOHOL:
There's drinking of hard liquor at a party and a couple of times elsewhere. One character drinks quite a bit.

ACTION:
The only action is the battles. The first third of the movie is setting everything up and may be a bit slow for some, but once the battles, which are mostly intense and fast paced, begin they come often enough to satisfy most action fans.

COMEDY:
For such a serious story there's a lot of humor. It's the type everyone should enjoy. I counted about a dozen chuckles and fifteen smiles.
