Critic's Review Heading
Good
Beavis and Butt-Head, King of the Hill. Two of the most successful animated television series in recent years--and two of the most annoying creations to ever hit the tube, if you ask me. So I was surprised to find myself laughing through much of the offbeat workplace comedy Office Space, the live-action directorial debut of those series' creator, Mike Judge.

D ETAILED S TORYLINE

Peter Gibbons (Ron Livingston) is having a mid-life crisis. He's 28 years old.

A computer programmer who toils for the INITECH Corporation, Peter cannot endure another moment of the mind-numbing routine and petty annoyances that assault him day after day. Personal life offers no relief, as Peter is pretty sure his girlfriend Anne (Alexandra Wentworth) is cheating on him.

Peter's cubicle-mates aren't faring all that much better. Michael Bolton (David Herman), no--not that Michael Bolton just a guy with the same name--and Samir (Ajay Naidu) have recently gotten the impression their jobs are not nearly as secure as INITECH VP Bill Lumbergh (Gary Cole) would lead them to believe.
