Animated Comedy - A movie similar to "Toy Story" in its appeal to a WIDE AUDIENCE of
kids and adults. It has more comedy than "Toy Story" and most of the
comedy appeals to all ages, rather than some for kids and some for
adults. EVERYONE should LOVE MONSTERS, INC.!

Review Good "Monsters, Inc. has got that swing, that zippity,
multilevel awareness of kids'-eye sensibilities and adult-pitched humor.
The movie doesn't soar; it does, however, glide and occasionally giggle..''
James Berardinelli, Internet Critic
Review Very Good "Monsters, Inc. is a triumph of storytelling. Each
new movie of this sort raises the bar a little more, and, while Monsters, Inc.
doesn't eclipse Dreamworks' Shrek, it comes close.''
Review Good "Monsters, Inc. is cheerful, high-energy fun, and like
the other Pixar movies, has a running supply of gags and references aimed at
grownups (I liked the restaurant named Harryhausen's, after the animation
Review Very Good "Monsters begins with a bang, slumps some in the
middle and comes back at full force at the end. Though the comedy is sometimes

OPINION OVERVIEW The following is the original "What's Worth
Watching" write-up for this movie.
As predicted, THIS IS A MUST SEE FAMILY FILM! These are some extremely high opinions. Adults liked it almost as well as the kids. There were a LOT of very high opinions given by adults, which is rare for an animation. Nearly all the kids rated it "Fantastic"
The only negative comments made were the appropriateness of the movie for very small children. A few thought it was a bit too scary for them and one said a few little ones were taken out crying (which
may or may not have been caused by the movie).
TAKE THE WHOLE FAMILY TO SEE MONSTERS, INC.
Publisher Comments: (before opinions collected)
This one is a MUST SEE for everyone who enjoyed any of the previous Pixar movies such as "Toy Story." It has lots of humor that everyone will enjoy. I predict this movie will receive some of the highest moviegoer opinions in a long time. TAKE THE WHOLE FAMILY!

The cast of characters also includes the factory's CEO, a crab-like monster

chameleon monster named Randall Boggs (STEVE BUSCEMI). Visiting from the human
world is Boo (MARY GIBBS), a tiny girl who goes where no human has ever gone
