Notes:
A man not to be trifled with, Benedict is secure in the knowledge that with its high-tech security system, the main vault beneath the Bellagio is impregnable. As is his relationship with Tess. Danny Ocean thinks otherwise. To pull off his elaborate scheme, Danny handpicks a team of gifted grifters — 11 men, three casinos, $150 million, all at once, in one daring holdup.
Drama - Young adults, primarily men, will enjoy this comic caper. Older
viewers also have a strong chance of enjoying. With the sexual and
language content fairly low, the film is passable for older
children/pre-teens.

Review Excellent "It wouldn't be wrong to call ''Ocean's Eleven'' a trifle,
but it's a debonair trifle made with high-wire effrontery, the kind that can't
be faked. This giddy and glancing charade is one of the most sheerly pleasurable
movies to come out this year, and it cements Soderbergh's status as the reigning
artist-entertainer at work in Hollywood today.''

Review Good "This is probably about the best anyone could do with Ocean's
Eleven. The high-wattage star power and unpredictable plot should give it
healthy box office splash before it sinks beneath the waves made by the other
December 2001 contenders.''

Review Good "I enjoyed it. It didn't shake me up and I wasn't much
involved, but I liked it as a five-finger exercise. Now it's time for Soderbergh
to get back to work.''
USA TODAYFull
Review Above Average "The hip factor is missing in Steven Soderbergh's more
tightly crafted Ocean's Eleven reworking, which is fatally lighter on the
two V's — vermouth and Vegas mystique — that still make 1960's Rat Pack
original waningly watchable.''

OPINION OVERVIEW The following is the original "What's Worth
Watching" write-up for this movie.
Moviegoer Opinions:
These are some VERY HIGH OPINIONS! Nearly everyone thoroughly enjoyed "Ocean's Eleven." With so many opinions of "Excellent" and "Fantastic," I can HIGHLY RECOMMEND "OCEAN'S ELEVEN" to everyone!
Dapper Danny Ocean (GEORGE CLOONEY) is a man of action. Less
than 24 hours into his parole from a New Jersey penitentiary, the wry,
charismatic thief is already rolling out his next plan. Following three rules
— don't hurt anybody, don't steal from anyone who doesn't deserve it, and play
the game like you've got nothing to lose — Danny orchestrates the most
sophisticated, elaborate casino heist in history.
In one night, Danny's handpicked 11-man crew of specialists
— including an ace card sharp (BRAD PITT), a master pickpocket (MATT DAMON)
and a demolition genius (DON CHEADLE) — will attempt to steal over $150
million from three Las Vegas casinos owned by Terry Benedict (ANDY GARCIA), the
elegant, ruthless entrepreneur who just happens to be dating Danny's ex-wife
Tess (JULIA ROBERTS).
Coincidence or motive? Only Danny knows for sure. To score
the cash, he'll have to risk his life and his chance of reconciling with Tess.
But if it all goes according to Danny's intricate, nearly impossible plan, he
won't have to choose between his stake in the heist and his high-stakes reunion
with Tess…or will he?
