Earl and Hank have only one thing in common: they're both L.A.P.D. rejects. One just got kicked out, the other can't even get in. After confronting each other on opposite sides of the law during a traffic stop that escalates out of control, these two luckless individuals end up partnered as lowly security guards. They uncover a sophisticated smuggling operation led by NASH and his band of thugs.
Action Comedy - It's exactly the silly little comedy it appears to be from the
previews. It's also funny without getting too stupid and it's
clean. To have the best chance of enjoying "National Security" you
should probably be someone who enjoys Martin Lawrence's style of
PROFANITY: 3 GD's, 1 F-word, 16 S-words, 19 A-words. Quite a few others. SEX/NUDITY: Some fairly mild sexual references/innuendoes. No nudity. VIOLENCE: There are quite a few shootouts, but certainly nothing graphic at all. DRUGS/ALCOHOL: None ACTION: Several shootouts and car chases. Nothing special. COMEDY: Lots of chuckles and laughs throughout.

OPINION OVERVIEW The following is the original "What's Worth
Watching" write-up for this movie.
As could be expected, teens and young adults enjoyed "National Security" the most rating it very high. Most adults enjoyed it quite a bit. Only a relatively small percentage rated it just OK.
I'm comfortable recommending "National Security" because I know almost everyone will enjoy it, at least to some degree, and most will enjoy it very much.

Very Funny Throughout! LOTS of chuckles and quite a few big laughs. Of course it really helps if you enjoy Martin Lawrence's style of humor since he's the one creating most of the laughs. I believe anyone thinking that this looks like a movie they would enjoy, will indeed enjoy it very much.
