Action Thriller - Fans of action and the James Bond series won't be disappointed by
this 20th installment, which delivers all of the thrills and stunts
one expects. The film is a little edgier in terms of tone,
violence, and sex, so parents should be warned; however, the film
still very much a PG-13, with very little bloody violence and only
PROFANITY: A handful of mild profanities. SEX/NUDITY: One very brief sex scene without nudity. VIOLENCE: A number of fistfights, shootings, and beatings with minimal bloodshed. DRUGS/ALCOHOL: Alcohol and tobacco use. ACTION: Many shootouts, fights, chases, explosions. COMEDY: Some wisecracks and sexual innuendo.

Review Excellent "The fakery goes right back to the kind we got in the '60s
007 films, with their wide-eyed suspension of disbelief. But Die Another Day
gets away with it, because it's the first Bond movie in ages that isn't fake
James Berardinelli, Internet Critic
Review Average "If there's one thing to recognize, it's that a single bad
outing will not succeed where Blofeld and dozens of other maniacs have failed.
Whether played by Pierce Brosnan or someone else, James Bond will return. Let's
just hope that when he does, he's the 007 we have come to love and admire, not
the impostor that inhabits Die Another Day.''
Review Good "Die Another Day is still utterly absurd from one end to the
other, of course, but in a slightly more understated way.''
Review Above Average "Die Another Day is dead-on as entertaining
eye candy, a bona fide guilty pleasure — for the first hour. But the movie
loses steam and the sequences that dazzled in the beginning get overshadowed by
the excesses of later scenes.''

James Bond's (Pierce Brosnan) newest mission begins with a spectacular high-speed hovercraft chase through a minefield in the demilitarized zone separating North and South Korea. Bond circles the world in his quest to unmask a traitor and prevent a war of catastrophic proportions. On his way he crosses paths with Jinx (Halle Berry) and Miranda Frost (Rosamund Pike). Hot on the trail of deadly megalomaniac Gustav Graves (Toby Stephens) and his ruthless right-hand man Zao (Rick Yune), Bond travels to Iceland into the villain's lair: a palace built entirely of ice. There he experiences firsthand the power of a new hi-tech weapon. Ultimately it all leads to an explosive confrontation - and unforgettable conclusion - back in Korea where it all started.
