OPINION OVERVIEW The following is the original "What's Worth
Watching" write-up for this movie.
Looking back at the moviegoer opinions from the first movie, this one received slightly lower opinions from the guys but about the same opinions from the ladies.
For the ladies. Looking at the graph you'll notice that there are a large percentage of "Fantastic" and "Excellent" opinions given by the ladies, especially the younger ones. There are also a fair number of low opinions. This combination indicates a movie that you will either love (which will be most of you) or you won't care for. Very few rated it as just an OK movie.
Now for the guys. This is obviously not a "guys" movie, but they actually didn't rate it all that much lower than the ladies. Most males, especially the younger ones, rated it quite high. There were many more male opinions in the average range indicating they thought the movie was at the very least, OK.
Overall I feel most will enjoy Legally Blonde 2. Just keep in mind that this one is even sillier and more "blonde" than the first one, but I believe it also has a better story.

Having conquered Harvard, Elle is now a rising young lawyer at a great firm, balancing a demanding career with preparations for her wedding to the man of her dreams. But when she finds out her beloved dog Bruiser's family members are being used as cosmetic test subjects by one of her firm's own clients, she stands up for their rights – and is promptly fired. She's devastated, but you can't keep an optimist down. Ms. Woods goes to Washington to take matters into her own
French manicured hands.
Trying to learn the political ropes and win over politicians, Elle faces a formidable challenge – and in a sea of grey, black, and navy, she sticks out like a pink thumb. Others on The Hill aren't immediately kind to "Capitol Barbie” and D.C. isn't an easy place for a person with impeccable fashion sense and a Harvard Law degree. But with her clever and sassy signature blend of intelligence and determination, she bucks the system the Elle Woods way. Speaking up for Bruiser and his family, Elle eventually inspires those around her to find voices of their own.
