Notes:
Despite his small stature, Valiant’s ambitions are enormous and endures rigorous training in preparation for a dangerous mission. With a shortage of wing-power in the royal fleet due to increased attacks by a brigade of vicious enemy falcons, the mission falls to “Squad F”. With a wing and a prayer, Valiant and his fine feathered pals fly into harm’s way and prove that it’s not the size of the wingspan that counts, but the size of the spirit.

Animated Comedy Adventure - This is an animated adventure/comedy aimed squarely at family
audiences, particularly young children. Despite the WWII setting,
this is a film that plays quite young.
PROFANITY: None. SEX/NUDITY: None. VIOLENCE: Animal fights and falls, mostly played for laughs. DRUGS/ALCOHOL: None. ACTION: Many air chases. COMEDY: Silly wisecracks and slapstick.

USA TodayFull Review Average Historically aware adults will sense what the movie is trying to do, but this is one that too many will sit through with a "stiff upper beak" (a phrase from the script).

OPINION OVERVIEW The following is the original "What's Worth
Watching" write-up for this movie.
Moviegoer Opinions:
We collected 96 moviegoer opinions. For this movie, the most important moviegoers are the children and they loved it. Teens also enjoyed "Valiant" very much. Older moviegoers, both male and female, generally enjoyed it, but it's certainly not a "Shrek" or "Toy Story."
Let me add that this movie was able to perform an amazing feat. It successfully held the attention of my two-year-old grandson for the entire movie and most others parents experienced the same miracle.
