Notes:
Will and Jake Grimm are brothers who travel around the Napoleonic countryside vanquishing monsters and demons in exchange for quick money. But when the French authorities figure out their scheme, the con men are forced to content with a real magical curse when they enter an enchanted forest where young maidens keep disappearing under mysterious circumstances. The Brothers Grimm are forced to confront all that their imaginations have brought to life in this epic battle between fantasy and reality.
.
Action Thriller - This is neither a telling of the true story of the famous fairy tale
authors nor a straight-ahead action adventure nor a clean,
family-friendly film but an effects-laden and violent film with very
odd and sometimes over-the-top humor. Creepy and violent moments
make the film a bit intense for younger children.

Roger EbertFull Review Average Terry Gilliam's "The Brothers Grimm" is a work of limitless invention, but it is invention without pattern, chasing itself around the screen without finding a plot.
USA TodayFull Review Average If there were a movie genre called "the non-starter," it sounds as if The Brothers Grimm could be a leader of the pack.
