Storyline Heading
The story of hopeless romantic Julia Jones, who has finally met the man of her dreams, the very British Grant Funkyerdoder. But before they can have their Big Fat Greek Wedding, they’ll have to Meet the Parents; hook-up with The Wedding Planner, and contend with Grant’s friend Andy – a spectacularly beautiful woman who wants to put an end to her Best Friend’s Wedding.

Movie Type (Genre) Heading
Romantic Comedy - This is a silly, sometimes crass, parody of popular romantic comedies. The film definitely plays better for those who have seen a lot of the original movies. The target teen and young adult crowd should eat it up.

OPINION OVERVIEW
The following is the original "What's Worth Watching" write-up for this movie.

Moviegoer Opinions:

Based on a theater exit polling of 104 moviegoers:It's easy to see that "Date Movie" was enjoyed most by teens. Teen male opinions were very high, but there weren't as many "Fantastic" opinions as I normally see. Teen females weren't too far behind the males. Approximately three-quarters of them enjoyed "Date Movie" very much" and most of the remaining ones rated it as an OK/average movie. These teen opinions are certainly high enough to HIGHLY RECOMMEND "DATE MOVIE" TO TEENS, BOTH MALE AND FEMALE.

The twentysomething groups rated it quite a bit lower than the teens. Approximately half truly enjoyed it, rating it "Very Good" or higher. About half of the remaining opinions were "Good," which indicates an OK/average movie. Chances are good that most twentysomethings will enjoy "Date Movie," but few will love it.

As for adults, the male opinions are decent. About half truly enjoyed it. Unfortunately, most of the remaining half didn't much like it at all. The adult female opinions were even lower. Only about a quarter of them truly enjoyed it. So, for adults I would urge caution, unless you are a big fan of this type of movie.
