Action Thriller - This is a mystery/thriller with a lot of science fiction/fantasy
elements that may take a number of viewers by surprise--and may lose
them altogether. So those looking for some gritty realism won't
it here, but fans of Denzel Washington will get plenty to savor
Despite the PG-13 rating, some violent content may be intense for
Berardinelli, Internet CriticFull Review Good Déjà Vu impresses with both the complexity of its storyline and its willingness to allow things to develop at their own pace without interjecting a lot of needless action scenes into the early proceedings to keep viewers attentive. It's a little long, but it covers a lot of ground. It's an imperfect motion picture, but it has lots to recommend it, and the more egregious flaws don't become apparent until post-movie ruminations.

Based on a theater exit polling of 140 moviegoers: Overall, these opinions are very good. There are a good number of very high opinions and virtually no real low opinions. Unfortunately, there are quite a few opinions of "Good" and lower, which keeps "Deja Vu" from being a highly recommended movie. Still, these opinions are certainly high enough to recommend this movie to most moviegoers. Just be aware that some of you will likely be a bit disappointed and feel this is just an average movie.
