The story of Richard Cooper, a happily married man faced with a mind-boggling predicament; Brenda, his wife of seven years who’s not about to let go of the man she loves; and Nikki, the bold bombshell with the power to blow Richard’s formerly routine life right out of the water.
Comedy - This is NOT much of a comedy! It contains very little humor. Teen
and twentysomething age groups may find it funny, but the audience
I saw it with hardly chuckled. It's definitely FOR ADULTS ONLY due
to LOTS of very strong and graphic profanity and sexual talk
PROFANITY: 56 F-words, 3 GD's, 16 S-words, a few others. SEX/NUDITY: LOTS of strong and graphic sexual talk, partial nudity. VIOLENCE: None DRUGS/ALCOHOL: One scene of marijuana smoking. ACTION: None COMEDY: Just a few mildly funny moments.
Berardinelli, Internet CriticFull Review Good (Rock)he has crafted a persuasive and intelligent motion picture that should have appeal beyond his core audience.
USA TodayFull Review Average The challenges inherent in remaining monogamous are certainly a viable topic for a clever romantic comedy. It's too bad that there is very little that's clever, romantic or witty in this formulaic romp.

OPINION OVERVIEW The following is the original "What's Worth
Watching" write-up for this movie.
Based on a theater exit polling of 21 moviegoers:This movie did very badly its opening weekend so we weren't able to collect very many opinions. Unfortunately, so few opinions won't be very accurate.
TEENS:They thought it was great. Certainly recommended.
TWENTYSOMETHINGS:Only a couple of males in this age group. They rated it above average to average. Probably not worth a full ticket price. Maybe a matinee or video rental.
ADULTS:There opinions are pretty much the same as mine and my wife's, not very good. When the highest opinions are "Good," and there are many "Terrible" opinions, it's certainly not a movie I can recommend.
Richard Cooper (Chris Rock) is a man with the perfect marriage – his wife, Brenda (Gina Torres), is beautiful, intelligent and a fantastic mother to his children – but there's just one little problem: he's bored out of his suburban businessman's mind. Despite having it all, Richard Cooper can't help but fantasize about having nearly ever woman he sees. Still, it's only fantasy. Then, one fateful day, an alluring, free-spirited, not to mention stunning, old friend, Nikki (Kerry Washington), suddenly appears at his office door, putting him to the ultimate test. Just how much is Richard Cooper willing to risk when temptation comes after him? After all, he really does love his wife . . . at least he thinks he does.
