Storyline Heading
Theirs is a ridiculously dependent friendship -- but now, they've gotten into different colleges and are forced to contemplate life apart. Evan is sweet, smart, and generally terrified. Seth is foul-mouthed, volatile, and all-consumed with the opposite sex. This is the story of their misguided attempts to approach the objects of their affections in one panic-driven night...that awful, humiliating night you cherish for the rest of your life.

Critic's Review Heading

Berardinelli, Internet Critic Full Review
Good Superbad may not be "supergood," it's engaging enough to be worth paying full admission prices.

Roger Ebert Full Review
Very Good 'Superbad' is a four-letter raunch-a-rama with a heart, and an inordinate interest in other key organs.

USA Today Full Review
Good Humiliation, fear and occasional elation are the dominant emotions for these bumbling but oddly likable young men. Side-splitting laughter, along with some powerful cringing, are likely to be audiences' dominant reactions.

OPINION OVERVIEW
The following is the original "What's Worth Watching" write-up for this movie.

Moviegoer Opinions:

Based on a theater exit polling of 84 moviegoers:
TEENS: This very raunchy teen comedy was LOVED BY TEENS! Only a few rated it somewhat low and that was likely due to the strong content. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
TWENTYSOMETHINGS: Very High Reviews! Both males and females enjoyed "Superbad." Only a few males rated it as low as average and below average. Highly Recommended!
ADULTS: Close to half of the males and females truly enjoyed "Superbad." The rest rated it as an OK/average to below average movie. My guess is the younger adults probably enjoyed it more than the older adults. So, if you are closer to age 30 than 50, your probability of enjoying "Superbad" is much higher.
