A mysterious and complex man of profound contradictions was bred from the world’s deadliest criminals, but raised by an exiled brotherhood of the Church. His very existence seems to be a sin, but he wages a quiet war to rid the world of evil. He’s brilliant, charismatic and charming – yet reveals little about himself, has no name, and is known only by the last two digits of a barcode tattooed on the back of his head.
Action Thriller - This is a violent action film based on the video game of the same
name. The target is the young male action crowd interested in mayhem
more than plot, which one won't find much of here.
OPINION OVERVIEW The following is the original "What's Worth
Watching" write-up for this movie.
Based on a theater exit polling of 86 moviegoers:
TEENS:As expected, teen males loved "Hitman." The two teen females also enjoyed it, but they didn't love it.
TWENTYSOMETHINGS and ADULTS:These age groups had the same somewhat mixed reviews. About half, both males and females, really enjoyed "Hitman," rating it "Very Good," or higher. The remaining half, for the most part, enjoyed "Hitman," but they only rated it as "Good," which indicates an average/OK movie. A few rated it even lower. Chances are good that you will enjoy "Hitman," but if you're not a strong fan of this type of movie, a lower price matinee may be in order.
