Critic's Review Heading

Roger Ebert Full Review
Average 'Bride Wars' is pretty thin soup. The characters have no depth or personality, no quirks or complications, no conversation.

USA Today Full Review
Poor Bride Wars is about as funny as a cringingly awkward wedding toast.

OPINION OVERVIEW
The following is the original "What's Worth Watching" write-up for this movie.

Moviegoer Opinions:

Based on a theater exit polling of 183 moviegoers:(WOW, the critics were WAY OFF on this movie. They rated it as Average or Poor. That's certainly not how the audience rated it.)
CHILDREN:Great reviews from the children. I would assume these are older children since this movie wouldn't likely hold the attention of young children.
TEENS:There are lots of reviews from teen females and they loved "Bride Wars." Only a very few rated it somewhat low. Very Highly Recommended! As for the males, there were only three and they enjoyed it very much.
TWENTYSOMETHINGS:Two-thirds of the females loved "Bride Wars." Most of the remaining third rated it average to below average. Highly recommended. The six males also rated it quite high. Half loved it and half rated it above average. Recommended for the guys also.
ADULTS:Almost all of the females enjoyed "Bride Wars" very much. About half truly loved it. Only a very small percentage rated it average. The male reviews are very similar. There were a few more males who didn't think it was great, but nearly all of them enjoyed it. Very Highly Recommended! Great date movie!

D ETAILED S TORYLINE
Now, at age 26, they're both about to get married; they're about to realize their dreams; and they're about to live happily ever after.

Or maybe not...

When a clerical error causes a clash in wedding dates - they're now to be married on the same date! - Liv, Emma and their lifelong friendship are put to the ultimate test. Liv, a successful lawyer who is used to getting what she wants, including the perfect job and the perfect man, won't settle for anything less than the perfect wedding she has dreamed of for years. Emma, a schoolteacher who has always been good at taking care of others, but not so much in looking after herself, discovers her inner Bridezilla and comes out swinging when her own dream wedding is imperiled.

Now, the two best friends who'd do anything for each other, find themselves in a no-holds-barred, take-no-prisoners struggle that threatens to erupt into all-out war.
