For years, stories have circulated about a secret place in the middle of the Nevada desert, known for unexplained phenomena and strange sightings. It is called Witch Mountain, and when a Las Vegas cab driver finds two teens with supernatural powers in his cab, he suddenly finds himself in the middle of an adventure he can't explain. When they discover that the only chance to save the world lies in unraveling the secrets of Witch Mountain, the race begins, as the government, mobsters and even extraterrestrials try to stop them.
Action Adventure - This is not a remake of Disney's 1975 science fiction film ESCAPE TO
WITCH MOUNTAIN but a completely new film using the same basic
of alien kids with super powers. But like the original film, this
an adventure film for the whole family, but with state-of-the-art
effects work and a greater emphasis on action, thanks to the
of star Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson. Fans of him should be pleased
though fans of co-star Carla Gugino may be disappointed that she
most of her screen time in the second half of the film.
Berardinelli, Internet CriticFull Review Average It takes all the usual Disney hooks - cute children, a likeable protagonist, lame action and lamer jokes, some special effects, poker-faced bad guys, and an animal - and throws them into a story that makes no sense whatsoever.
Roger EbertFull Review Above Average Young audiences will like the kids in the movie, played by AnnaSophia Robb and Alexander Ludwig. And in using kids as the co-stars, the movie has its cake and eats, too,...
USA TodayFull Review Average Race to Witch Mountain is mediocre family fare that's simply not that much fun. Despite an array of gadgets, a spaceman villain with a monster face, and complicated scientific experiments, it lacks urgency and thrills.

GREAT REVIEWS FROM ALL AGES, BOTH MALES AND FEMALES! Children loved it and adults weren't too far behind. It says a lot when over half the reviews are "Excellent" or "Fantastic" with virtually no low reviews. Very Highly Recommended!
