Notes:
JAMES EARL JONES, tells the remarkable story of three animal families and their amazing journeys across the planet we all call home. Earth combines rare action, unimaginable scale and impossible locations by capturing the most intimate moments of our planet’s wildest and most elusive creatures.
.
Adventure - This is a nature documentary not unlike those found on the Discovery
Channel or Animal Planet. Like March of the Penguins, this
has a lot of kid and family appeal though some scenes of animal
attack may be intense for very young children.
Berardinelli, Internet CriticFull Review Good Despite the negatives related to the narration, Earth is simply too spectacular to pass up because of poor choices made by the film's shapers.
Roger EbertFull Review Good This 'earth' is beautiful and worthwhile.
USA TodayFull Review Above Average The first film under the new banner Disneynature is a feature-length documentary, and the visual results are spectacular.

OPINION OVERVIEW The following is the original "What's Worth
Watching" write-up for this movie.
Moviegoer Opinions:
Based on a theater exit polling of 106 moviegoers:
CHILDREN: Great reviews from most so it's certainly a movie I can highly recommend. However, a fairly significant percentage of the reviews came in as only average, which for children is a bit low.
TEENS: Most males and all the females enjoyed "Earth" very much. No one disliked it so I can easily recommend it.
TWENTYSOMETHINGS: Very good reviews from the few moviegoers in this age group. Recommended.
ADULTS: Great reviews from both the males and females. Only a small percentage rated it somewhat low. Recommended.
