Notes:
78-year-old balloon salesman Carl Fredricksen finally fulfills his lifelong dream of a great adventure when he ties thousands of balloons to his house and flies away to the wilds of South America. But he discovers all too late that his biggest nightmare has stowed away on the trip: an overly optimistic 9-year-old Wilderness Explorer named Russell.
.
Animated Adventure - Like all Pixar animated features, this is an adventure with appeal to
kids and adults; in fact, one of the strong themes about love and
aging may give this even more appeal to older viewers. The 3-D gives
it even more appeal for kids.

Roger EbertFull Review Excellent 'Up' is a wonderful film, with characters who are as believable as any characters can be who spend much of their time floating above the rain forests of Venezuela.
USA TodayFull Review Excellent Easily the summer's, and probably the year's, most enchanting movie, Up is a buoyant delight.
NewsdayFull Review Very Good A whimsical story that taps into the magical relationship between the young and the old.
