Movie Type (Genre) Heading
Horror Thriller - This is a very bloody horror thriller that clocks in a little over two hours. Despite the presence of a child at the center, this is most definitely not for kids due to violence (mostly caused by said child), sex, and other mature content.

Critic's Review Heading

Roger Ebert Full Review
Very Good You want a good horror film about a child from hell, you got one. Do not, under any circumstances, take children to see it. Take my word on this.

USA Today Full Review
Above Average Like Drag Me to Hell, Orphan follows horror conventions, then plays with audience expectations. The experience becomes more entertaining because of what we don't see coming.

Almost as soon as they welcome Esther into their home, however, an alarming series of events begins to unfold, leading Kate to believe that there's something wrong with Esther--this seemingly angelic little girl is not what she appears to be.
