Romantic Comedy - This is a tearjerking romantic and family drama aimed at women, especially fans of star Robert Pattinson. Those sensitive to a real-life national tragedy may be offended by its gimmicky, plot twist use here. Some language, sexual situations, and non-stop cigarette smoking make the film inappropriate for kids.
PROFANITY: 2 F-words; 18 S-words; 2 GD's; a number of others. SEX/NUDITY: A moderately long sex scene without nudity. VIOLENCE: A shooting and fights with minimal bloodshed. DRUGS/ALCOHOL: Non-stop smoking and frequent alcohol. ACTION: A couple of fights. COMEDY: Wisecracks and cute kid humor.
Berardinelli, Internet CriticFull Review Average As a pure romance, this is mediocre at best. As a drama, it's no better. The synthesis of these elements into a stew of less than appealing consistency, Remember Me is forgettable.
Roger EbertFull Review Good The fact is, "Remember Me" is a well-made movie. I cared about the characters. I felt for them. Liberate them from the plot's destiny, which is an anvil around their necks, and you might have something.
USA TodayFull Review Above Average Remember Me is a touching love story, but its broader tale of familial relations packs a greater emotional punch. Elements of the story come off as contrived, with unlikely coincidences linking more realistic moments.
