THE A-TEAM follows the exciting and daring exploits of a colorful team of former Special Forces soldiers who were set up for a crime they did not commit. Going "rogue," they utilize their unique talents to try and clear their names and find the true culprit.
Action Adventure Thriller - This is an ensemble action film with some comedic elements based on
the popular 1980s television show. The target audience is the young
adult action crowd and those who grew up on the TV series. Violent
content, some language, and some suggestive humor make the film
inappropriate for young children.
PROFANITY: 22 S-words, 5 GD's, a number of others. SEX/NUDITY: None. VIOLENCE: Fights, shootings with minimal to moderate blood. DRUGS/ALCOHOL: Some alcohol and frequent tobacco. ACTION: Chases, fights, gunplay, explosions, destruction. COMEDY: Comic banter and wisecracks, sometimes suggestive.
Berardinelli, Internet CriticFull Review Above Average ...this movie feels like one might expect from a major movie rendering of a "guilty pleasure" TV show, with the right amount of cheese to go along with the adrenaline and testosterone. Had the action sequences been better framed and presented, this might have been one of the summer's mindless high points. As it is, it's a passable diversion. The plan came together, although not as well as it might have.
Roger EbertFull Review Below Average "The A-Team” is an incomprehensible mess with the 1980s TV show embedded inside. The characters have the same names, they play the same types, they have the same traits, and they're easily as shallow. That was OK for a TV sitcom, which is what the show really was, but at over two hours of Queasy-Cam anarchy, it's punishment.
USA TodayFull Review Below Average ...there's nothing exciting about this awful, over-the-top reboot. There is, however, plenty of frenetic action of the sort that's delivered so speedily that instead of quickening our pulses, it makes our eyes glaze. Despite a talented cast, this nearly two-hour inane frenzy of action and violence is rarely more than bloated and boring. It's hard not to pity the fools who spend their dollars on this overblown mess.

GREAT REVIEWS! All ages, both males and females, enjoyed "The A Team" very much with a large percentage totally loving it. There were a few ladies that weren't real impressed but no one disliked it, which, for this type of movie, is astounding. Certainly a movie not to miss, especially on the big screen to fully enjoy all the great action.
