Five men who were best friends when they were young kids are getting together for the Fourth of July weekend to meet each others' families for the first time. Picking up where they left off, they discover why growing older doesn't mean growing up.
Comedy - Like Adam Sandler's other films, this is a silly and often juvenile
comedy, but this one is more kid- and family-oriented than most of
his others. This is also more of an ensemble film, with Sandler
sharing the stage fairly equally with co-stars Kevin James, Chris
Rock, David Spade, and Rob Schneider. Fans of the female co-stars
such as Salma Hayek and Maria Bello will be disappointed by their
limited screen time. Some crude humor may be inappropriate for very

These are GREAT REVIEWS from all ages, both males and females. Over half of each group rated "Grown Ups" extremely high. Most of the rest rated it very high. As is common with any silly movie type, there are a few who didn't care much for i,t but even their reviews aren't real low. I believe you will find "Grown Ups" to be a better movie than you probably expect.
