Watching" write-up for this movie.
Based on a theater exit polling of 147 moviegoers:

TWENTYSOMETHINGS:Slightly over half of the males enjoyed it very much and many loved "The Eagle." Unfortunately, quite a few rated it only average, which is somewhat disappointing. Also, a few even rated it below average and poor. The ladies enjoyed it quite a bit more than the guys. Nearly all of them enjoyed it very much.
ADULTS:For this type of movie the male reviews aren't that great. Only about a third truly loved it. Another third rated it above average, which is high, but a significant percentage only rated it average with a few rating it even lower. The female reviews are about the same as the males except more of their reviews are in the above average range and they have fewer very low reviews.
