Notes:
Three people are haunted by mortality in different ways. George is a blue-collar American who has a special connection to the afterlife. On the other side of the world, Marie, a French journalist, has a near-death experience that shakes her reality. And when Marcus, a London schoolboy, loses the person closest to him, he desperately needs answers. Each on a path in search of the truth, their lives will intersect, forever changed by what they believe might—or must—exist in the hereafter.

Drama - Despite the advertising this is neither a big Matt Damon starring
vehicle or a traditional supernatural thriller. It is a slower-moving
drama more in line with the work of director Clint Eastwood, and an
ensemble film that follows three different storylines including one
featuring Damon; one of the stories is also almost entirely in
French. The target audience is older adults. Some intense sequences
and mature subject matter about death make the film inappropriate for
young children.

TEENS:Very mixed reviews. Only a relatively small percentage enjoyed "Hereafter." Most rated it average to below average.
TWENTYSOMETHINGS:The males mostly rated it above average, which is good but not great. The females enjoyed it much more. Many loved "Hereafter," but nearly half only rated it average and below average.
ADULTS:The male and female reviews are nearly identical. A few loved it, a few more rated it above average, but half rated it average and lower, a few much lower. These reviews are too mixed to tell you anything but to be certain this is the type of movie you enjoy.
