Notes:
Strange lights descend on the city of Los Angeles, drawing people outside like months to a flame where an extraterrestrial force threatens to swallow the entire human population off the face of the Earth.

Drama - This is a very harrowing fact-based drama. The climactic act of
violence is not for the faint of heart and makes the film
inappropriate for young children. This is more or less a one-man show
for star James Franco.

Berardinelli, Internet CriticFull Review Good This is a fascinating story of determination and survival that deserves to be told. It is ultimately uplifting but it's tough going to get to that point.
USA TodayFull Review Excellent Only a truly visionary filmmaker could take a story largely set in a cramped canyon and give it a sense of openness and hope.
