Ronny and Nick are partners in their own company. The pair is unbeatable, of so they think, until Ronny's see Nick's girlfriend in another man's arms. Ronny decides to do some investigation and get down to the truth but he finds Nick has some secrets of his own.
Comedy Drama - This is a sometimes crude comedy aimed at young adults, particularly
males. Fans of Vince Vaughn, Kevin James, and Winona Ryder should
enjoy though Jennifer Connelly and Channing Tatum's roles are fairly
small. Crude humor, brief sex, and adult subject matter make the film
inappropriate for kids.

OPINION OVERVIEW The following is the original "What's Worth
Watching" write-up for this movie.
Based on a theater exit polling of 97 moviegoers:
TEENS:One of the males loved it, one rated it above average and three only rated it as average. The females enjoyed it more with half enjoying it very much (very good or higher reviews). Unfortunately, most of the remaining half rated it average with a few rating it below average.
TWENTYSOMETHINGS:Quite a few of the guys loved it and a few more enjoyed it very much. However, nearly half of the reviews are low to very low. Females enjoyed it quite a bit more. Nearly half loved "The Dilemma," and most of the rest rated it above average, which indicates a movie they enjoyed very much.
ADULTS:Just over half of the males enjoyed "The Dilemma" very much and most of the rest rated it above average, which is a bit low, but not bad. Females rated it slightly higher. Three-quarters of them enjoyed it very much with only a small percentage rating it somewhat low (fair).
A story of
how far you can bend a brotherly bond before it snaps.
Since college, confirmed bachelor Ronny (Vince Vaughn)
and happily married Nick (Kevin James) have been through
thick and thin. Now partners in their own company,
B&V Engine Design, the two pals are vying to land a
dream project that would put their company on the
map. With Ronny's girlfriend, Beth (Jennifer Connelly), and
Nick's wife, Geneva (Winona Ryder), by their sides, the pair
That is, until Ronny's world is turned upside down
when he inadvertently sees Geneva in the arms of
another man (Channing Tatum), shattering the sheen of his best
friend's perfect marriage. Ronny makes it his mission
to get answers before he tells Nick the news that no
one ever thinks he will have to hear.
As his amateur investigation dissolves his world
into comic mayhem, Ronny learns that Nick has a few
secrets of his own. Now, with the clock ticking and
pressure mounting from automotive consultant Susan
Warner (Queen Latifah) on the biggest presentation of their
careers—and Ronny's own relationship deteriorating
by the day—he must decide how and when he will
reveal the truth to his best friend.
