Notes:
Mumble, The Master of Tap, has a problem because his tiny son, Erik, is choreo-phobic. Reluctant to dance, Erik runs away and encounters The Mighty Sven—a penguin who can fly! Mumble has no hope of competing with this charismatic new role model. But things get worse when the world is shaken by powerful forces. Erik learns of his father's guts and grit as Mumble brings together the penguin nations and all manner of fabulous creatures—from tiny Krill to giant Elephant Seals—to put things right.

Animated Comedy Adventure - Like the first film, this is an animated musical comedy aimed at the
entire family. There is not as much dance as in the first film, but
there is still plenty to please the fans. Some actors such as
Common and Sofia Vergara have fairly small roles.
Roger EbertFull Review Above Average The animation is bright and attractive, the music gives the characters something to do, but the movie has too much dialogue in the areas of philosophy and analysis.
USA TodayFull Review Average What happens is that we get vested in the lives of these characters. That's rare in a lot of movies. We come to understand how they think and care about what they decide.
Washington PostFull Review Below Average In "Happy Feet Two," there's precious little of what gave the original "Happy Feet" its incongruous, yet infectious charm: a tap-dancing penguin.
