Action Thriller - Although there are a number of well known actors in the film, most of
them only have small parts, for this is a big starring showcase for
an acting newcomer, mixed martial arts fighter Gina Carano. Like her
sport, the fights here are very brutal, and the violent content makes
the film inappropriate for kids.
Berardinelli, Internet CriticFull Review Good ...Haywire is too short. It's enjoyable enough, in a lightweight sort of way, that an extra ten or fifteen minutes would have been welcome.
Roger EbertFull Review Good A film like "Haywire" has no lasting significance, but it's a pleasure to see an A-list director taking the care to make a first-rate genre thriller.
USA TodayFull Review Good Haywire is a vigorous spy thriller that consistently beckons the viewer to catch up with its narrative twists and turns. Bordering on convoluted, it works best when in combat mode.

OPINION OVERVIEW The following is the original "What's Worth
Watching" write-up for this movie.

However, it's easy to see that this movie was not enjoyed by the average moviegoer.
