Abraham Lincoln, the 16th President of the United States, discovers vampires are planning to take over the United States. He makes it his mission to eliminate them.
Action Horror Thriller - The title doesn't lie: this is very much the over-the-top, borderline
ridiculous idea it sounds like, interweaving actual historical
details about the legendary President into a horror/action story.
The target audience is young adults, particularly males. There are
no really big stars here, and the more familiar faces such as Dominic
Cooper and Rufus Sewell have small supporting roles to the fairly
unknown lead, Benjamin Walker. Some language and very bloody
violence make this one too intense for children.
Berardinelli, Internet CriticFull Review Above Average The concept of Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter is worthy of a good chuckle or two, but the execution proves that sometimes a clever title does not beget a production of equal value.
Roger EbertFull Review Good 'Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter' is without a doubt the best film we are ever likely to see on the subject..
USA TodayFull Review Above Average And for the most part, it does. Despite its factual dismemberment of the movie's namesake, Hunter bristles as summer action fodder. Honest.

WOW! These are OUTSTANDING REVIEWS! All ages, both males and females LOVED "ABRAHAM LINCOLN: VAMPIRE KILLER." For a horror/vampire movie, these reviews are awesome, especially considering the subject matter of the story. It is very rare for this type of movie to NOT have a significant percentage of very low reviews, but this one doesn't.
