Magic Mike packs the house for Club Xquisite's savvy stripper-turned-manager Dallas. Dallas discovered Mike six years earlier, dancing with friends, and invited him to hone his talents professionally. The hot headliner in an all-male revue takes a young performer under his wing and teaches him how to party, dance, pick up women and make easy money.
Drama Comedy - While centering around a group of male strippers, there is actually
little in the way of actual nudity in this comedy/drama, but there is
plenty of suggestive dancing by men. Fans of Channing Tatum,
Matthew McConaughey, and Alex Pettyfer will have plenty to savor, but
the other male stars have smaller roles. Women are obviously the
target audience. Constant language and sexual themes make the film
inappropriate for children.
PROFANITY: Well over 30 F-words; over 30 S-words; 2 GD's; many others. SEX/NUDITY: Lots of sexy dancing by men with related nudity; some female sexy dancing with nudity; brief sex. VIOLENCE: Some fighting. DRUGS/ALCOHOL: Alcohol, marijuana, ecstasy. ACTION: None. COMEDY: Comic lines and physical gags, often sex-related.
