Notes:
Eight years after Batman took the fall for Two Face's crimes, a new terrorist leader, Bane overwhelms Gotham's finest, and the Dark Knight resurfaces to protect a city that brands him an enemy.
Action Thriller - This third and final installment of the current Batman film
series is a slower, darker, more drama-driven installment that
actually is more focused on Bruce Wayne outside of his costume. That
said, fans of the series and stars Christian Bale, Anne Hathaway,
and Tom Hardy should be happy. Violence and dark subject matter may
be too intense for young children.

Berardinelli, Internet CriticFull Review Very Good The Dark Knight Rises gives this Batman trilogy a platform high atop the superhero pyramid from which it may never be dislodged.
Roger EbertFull Review Good The film begins slowly with a murky plot and too many new characters, but builds to a sensational climax.
USA TodayFull Review Good Nolan's beautifully framed shots are remarkably artful, such as the first quick glimpse of Wayne in the reflection of a silver platter.

FANTASTIC REVIEWS! All ages, both males and females, LOVED "THE DARK KNIGHT RISES." Only a very few rated it as low as "Good/Average," with no one disliking it. DON'T MISS IT! (preferably on the big screen!)
It has been eight years since Batman vanished into the night, turning, in
that instant, from hero to fugitive. Assuming the blame for the death of D.A.
Harvey Dent, the Dark Knight sacrificed everything for what he and Commissioner
Gordon both hoped was the greater good. For a time the lie worked, as criminal
activity in Gotham City was crushed under the weight of the anti-crime Dent Act.
But everything will change with the arrival of a cunning cat burglar with a
mysterious agenda. Far more dangerous, however, is the emergence of Bane, a
masked terrorist whose ruthless plans for Gotham drive Bruce out of his
self-imposed exile. But even if he dons the cape and cowl again, Batman may be
no match for Bane.
