Dodging speeding cars, crazed cabbies and eight million cranky pedestrians is all in a day's work for Wilee, the best of New York's agile and aggressive bicycle messengers. It takes a special breed to ride the fixie - super lightweight, single-gear bikes with no brakes and riders who are equal part skilled cyclists and nutcases who risk becoming a smear on the pavement every time they head into traffic. But a guy who's used to putting his life on the line is about to get more than even he is used to when his last envelope of the day - a routine "premium rush" run - turns into a life or death chase through the streets of Manhattan.
Action - This fast-paced action thriller is aimed at a young adult audience
with its energetic style and young stars Joseph Gordon-Levitt and
Dania Ramirez, but the presence of Michael Shannon as the villain give
it some older appeal as well. While no graphic violence, there are
some hard falls and dangerous bike riding that may be of caution to
parents, and there is a fair amount of strong language despite the
PROFANITY: 1 F-word; over 30 F-words; 12 GD's; a number of others. SEX/NUDITY: None. VIOLENCE: Hard falls from bikes; a shooting; people hit by cars. DRUGS/ALCOHOL: Some alcohol and tobacco. ACTION: Car and bike chases; non-stop fast bike riding. COMEDY: Banter, wisecracks, sight gags.

Based on a theater exit polling of 22 moviegoers:
It was a bad weekend at the movies. We certainly expected a bigger turnout for this movie. From a few showing on opening weekend, we were only able to collect these 22 reviews.
TEENS:Both the males loved it. Two of the females loved it and the third one rated it average.
TWENTYSOMETHINGS:One male loved it and one rated it average. The lone female loved it.
ADULTS:Three of the males loved it but the other two rated it average to below average. That's somewhat disappointing. The ladies enjoyed it slightly more than the guys. Seven of the nine enjoyed it very much. Only a couple rated it below average.
