Looper, time travel will be invented - but it will be illegal and only available on the black market. When the mob wants to get rid of someone, they will send their target 30 years into the past, where a "looper" - a hired gun, like Joe - is waiting to mop up. Joe is getting rich and life is good...until the day the mob decides to "close the loop," sending back Joe's future self for assassination.

Action Thriller - The advertising for this science fiction thriller plays up the action
top-billed star Bruce Willis is known for, and while there is a fair
amount of action and violence, it's a bit more of a slower and
dramatic film, plus Joseph Gordon-Levitt is the true lead. That
said, fans of the two and co-star Emily Blunt should be satisfied.
Constant language and violence make the film too intense for kids
although a young boy does figure strongly in the film.

This movie received some very high reviews from critics, which usually concerns me, but moviegoer reviews show it really is as good as the critics say it is (for once).
TEENS:Great reviews from both the males and females. Most loved it, especially the ladies.
TWENTYSOMETHINGS:The female reviews are extremely high. Nearly all loved "Looper." Over half the males loved it with the rest indicating they enjoyed it very much. Equally important --- no one disliked "Looper."
ADULTS:The reviews for both males and females are very good, but not quite great. Approximately three-quarters either loved it or enjoyed it very much. Unfortunately, there were a fair number who rated it somewhat low.
