Bryan Mills is the retired CIA agent who stopped at nothing to save his abducted daughter in TAKEN. When he is targeted by a mysterious figure seeking vengeance, Bryan must employ his "particular set of skills" to protect his family against an army out to kill them.
Action Crime Drama - Like the first film, this is a big action showcase for star Liam
Neeson. Co-star Maggie Grace has a bigger and more proactive role
this time out. Also like the first film, though there is a fair
amount of violence, most of it is with minimal blood. That said,
film would be too intense for young children.
Roger EbertFull Review Good The cast is uniformly capable and dead serious, and if you're buying what Luc Besson is selling, he's not short-changing you.
NY PostFull Review Below Average When Neeson engages in bare-knuckle fisticuffs at the climax of the cartoonish 'Taken 2,' I honestly couldn't figure out if the 60-year-old actor was actually present at all except for the close-ups.
