Drama Mystery Sci-Fi - This is a basic drama set in the future. It is mainly for those who
have read the book. Others, like myself, really couldn't get a good
grasp on the storyline. Assuming this one is successful, the story
ended with a setup for part three.
PROFANITY: There are 3 GD's and 3 a-s profanities. No others. SEX/NUDITY: None VIOLENCE: Some very low intensity violence. DRUGS/ALCOHOL: None ACTION: Just a couple of mild scenes. COMEDY: None
Washington PostFull Review Below Average The faster pace, livelier cast and improved production values make 'Part II' less of a slog than the first movie. But there's only so much the filmmakers can do with the novel's antiquated story and didactic dialogue.

OPINION OVERVIEW The following is the original "What's Worth
Watching" write-up for this movie.
Moviegoer Opinions:
Based on a theater exit polling of 135 moviegoers:
TEENS:The lone male loved it.
TWENTYSOMETHINGS:Two males loved it, one enjoyed it very much and one rated it average. One female loved "Argo." One rated it above average and one rated it average. These are very good but not quite great reviews.
ADULTS:The male and female reviews are very similar. Over half loved "Argo." Approximately another quarter rated it above average, indicating they enjoyed it very much. Unfortunately, there were quite a few who only rated it "Good/Average," which is a little low but certainly not bad.
The global economy is on the brink of collapse. Unemployment has risen to
24%. Gas is now $42 per gallon. Brilliant creators, from artists to
industrialists, continue to mysteriously disappear at the hands of the unknown.
Dagny Taggart, Vice President in Charge of Operations for Taggart
Transcontinental, has discovered what may very well be the answer to a mounting
energy crisis - found abandoned amongst the ruins of a once productive factory,
a revolutionary motor that could seemingly power the World.
But, the motor is dead... there is no one left to decipher its secret...and,
someone is watching.
It's a race against the clock to find the inventor before the motor of the
World is stopped for good.
