Notes:
Bond's loyalty to M is tested as her past comes back to haunt her. As MI6 comes under attack, 007 must track down and destroy the threat, no matter how personal the cost.
Action Adventure Crime - The latest James Bond adventure delivers all the action and stunts one
would expect, but like the other recent films in the series starring
Daniel Craig, there is also a much stronger dose of drama. This time
around longtime series co-star Judi Dench has a much more expanded
role. Language, violence, and some sensuality make the film of
caution for parents of young children.
PROFANITY: 1 F-word; 5 S-words; a few others. SEX/NUDITY: Brief sensuality without nudity. VIOLENCE: Fights, shootings, falls. DRUGS/ALCOHOL: Alcohol and tobacco. ACTION: Fights, chases, explosions, fires, destruction. COMEDY: Some comic lines and banter, sometimes suggestive.
Berardinelli, Internet CriticFull Review Very Good Skyfall is everything Bond should be, encapsulating the best of all the eras - even the brief tenures of Dalton and Lazenby - into a package that celebrates Bond 50 by reassuring us that Bond is back.
Roger EbertFull Review Excellent "Skyfall" triumphantly reinvents 007 in one of the best Bonds ever. This is a full-blooded, joyous, intelligent celebration of a beloved cultural icon, with Daniel Craig taking full possession of a role he earlier played well in "Casino Royale,"...
USA TodayFull Review Very Good Over the past half century, audiences have been shaken and stirred by 007 movies, and entertained in varying doses by a succession of brawny Bonds. Consistently high-caliber, Skyfall is the ideal way to celebrate the 50-year mark.
Washington PostFull Review Good ...a sleek, crisp, classy installment exhibiting just the right proportion of respect for legacy and embrace of novelty. From the first smoky notes of a theme song sung by Adele, it's clear that "Skyfall" will be both classic and of-the-moment.

When Bond's (DANIEL CRAIG) latest assignment goes gravely wrong and several undercover agents around the world are exposed, MI6 is attacked, forcing M (JUDI DENCH) to relocate the agency. These events cause her authority and position to be challenged by Mallory (RALPH FIENNES), the new Chairman of the Intelligence and Security Committee. With MI6 now compromised from both inside and out, M is left with one ally she can trust: Bond. 007 takes to the shadows - aided only by field agent, Eve (NAOMIE HARRIS) - following a trail to the mysterious Silva (JAVIER BARDEM), whose lethal and hidden motives have yet to reveal themselves.
