Notes:
Nell Sweetzer is found terrified and alone in rural Louisiana. Back in the relative safety of New Orleans, Nell realizes that she can't remember entire portions of the previous months only that she is the last surviving member of her family. Just as Nell begins the difficult process of starting a new life, the evil force that once possessed her is back with other, unimaginably horrific plans that mean her last exorcism was just the beginning.
.
Horror - This horror sequel loses the mock documentary format of the original
and as such its touches of satiric humor, making it much more of a
traditional supernatural thriller than the first. Ashley Bell is the
one major returnee from the first film. While not having any extreme
gore, it is still too intense and scary for children.
Washington PostFull Review Poor The promise of a quick cash grab is the only excuse that justifies "The Last Exorcism Part II," an ineffective excursion that maintains a few direct ties back to the original film but never moves the story forward.
