Six friends are trapped in a house after a series of strange and catastrophic events devastate Los Angeles. As the world unravels outside, dwindling supplies and cabin fever threaten to tear apart the friendships inside. Eventually, they are forced to leave the house, facing their fate and the true meaning of friendship and redemption.
Comedy - While all the main stars play themselves, this is a fictional sci-fi
action comedy very much in the crude, young adult male-appeal vein of
most of co-star/co-writer/co-director Seth Rogen's other films. This
film should please fans of the film's core cast of Rogen, James
Franco, Danny McBride, Jay Baruchel, Jonah Hill, and Craig Robinson.
Constant language, violence, drug use, and suggestive and crude
humor make this one definitely not for children.
PROFANITY: Well over 30 F-words; well over 30 S-words; 11 GD's; many others. SEX/NUDITY: Brief full male nudity in a sexual context; nude female photos. VIOLENCE: Fights and bloody killings, played for laughs. DRUGS/ALCOHOL: Alcohol, cocaine, marijuana. ACTION: Chases, fights, destruction. COMEDY: Constant crude, dark, suggestive, drug-related verbal and physical gags.

Watching" write-up for this movie.
Based on a theater exit polling of 29 moviegoers:
TEENS:These are certainly not the best reviews. On male loved it and three enjoyed it very much. Another one rated it average with two more rating it "Terrible." The two females both rated it above average.
TWENTYSOMETHINGS:The two males rated it above average. All three of the females loved "This is the End."
ADULTS:Very mixed reviews from both the males and females. Just a third to a half truly enjoyed "This is the End." With this many rating it very low to terrible, I would certainly advise caution.
