Action Adventure Sci-Fi - While this big screen reboot of Superman features all the superhero
action and flying one would expect, it is also a lot darker and
gravely serious than previous film and television versions, featuring
very little humor. Leads Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, and Michael
Shannon are the focus here, with recognizable stars such as Russell
Crowe, Kevin Costner, Diane Lane, and Laurence Fishburne have smaller
supporting roles. Some violent action sequences and scary
moments/images may be too intense for young children.
