Movie Type (Genre) Heading
Drama Thriller - Like Drive, the previous teaming of director Nicolas Winding Refn and star Ryan Gosling, this is a very dark and violent film, but unlike that film, this is a lot slower and arty and far less action-driven. Those looking for something closer in genre to that film will be disappointed. Kristin Scott Thomas fans will be pleased with her change of pace character and performance here. Constant violence as well as sexual content make the film most inappropriate for kids.

Critic's Review Heading

Roger Ebert Full Review
Very Poor Refn and Smith might have been going for authentic urban, disquiet, but the result is middle of the road trash-can of manufactured, polished, execration.

USA Today Full Review
Below Average God may forgive you for seeing this needlessly brutal film. But you won't forgive yourself.
