The two most powerful tech billionaires in the world are bitter rivals with a complicated past who will stop at nothing to destroy each
other. A young superstar, Adam Cassidy, seduced by unlimited wealth and
power, falls between them and becomes trapped in their twisting, turning, life-and-death game of
corporate espionage. By the time Adam realizes his life is in danger, he is in far too deep and knows
far too much for them to let him walk away.
Thriller - This dramatic thriller is a showcase for young lead Liam Hemsworth,
with the two big stars in the cast, Gary Oldman and especially
Harrison Ford, with smaller supporting parts. Some language,
sensuality, and violence make the film inappropriate for young children.
Roger EbertFull Review Poor Here is a film that clearly wants to be a gripping techno-thriller but feels as if it was designed both by and for people who still have not quite figured out how to get their Kindles to work.
USA TodayFull Review Average The corporate-espionage thriller has a great cast, but it's undercut by convention.
Entertainment WeeklyFull Review Average 'Paranoia' peddles Hemsworth, a chiseled hunk who doesn't offer the audience much beyond his good looks.

OPINION OVERVIEW The following is the original "What's Worth
Watching" write-up for this movie.
Based on a theater exit polling of 34 moviegoers:
This movie didn't attract much of an audience its opening weekend and I don't understand why. It has major actors and a compelling trailer but the 7:30 Friday showing we collected reviews from only had five moviegoers in attendance. For this reason, we weren't able to collect but a handful of reviews.
TEENS:Three of the four females rated it above average and the fourth one rated it below average.
TWENTYSOMETHINGS:The two males rated it above average. Half the ladies loved "Paranoia," and half rated it above average, which indicates they enjoyed it very much.
ADULTS:The male reviews are pretty good but not great. About a third loved "Paranoia," with another third rating it above average. Unfortunately, the final third mostly rated it average, which is a bit low. A small percentage disliked it.
