Storyline Heading
The haunted Lambert family seeks to uncover the mysterious childhood secret that has left them dangerously connected to the spirit world.
.
Movie Type (Genre) Heading
Horror - Like the first film, this is a supernatural/haunted house horror film. Despite the PG-13 rating and the lack of graphic violence, the film is much too intense and scary for children, especially with one of the main characters being a kid. All of the cast from the first film return, so fans should be pleased.

Critic's Review Heading

USA Today Full Review
Poor This weak sequel to 2010's 'Insidious' feels cobbled together from outtakes.

Entertainment Weekly Full Review
Below Average Considering how creatively bankrupt and stylistically profligate this second installment of the franchise is, the new movie should really be called 'Insidious: Chapter 11.'

NY Post Full Review
Poor 'Insidious 2' is an insipid, pointless flick.
