The haunted Lambert family seeks to uncover the mysterious childhood secret that has left them dangerously connected to the spirit world.
Horror - Like the first film, this is a supernatural/haunted house horror
film. Despite the PG-13 rating and the lack of graphic violence, the
film is much too intense and scary for children, especially with one
of the main characters being a kid. All of the cast from the first
film return, so fans should be pleased.
USA TodayFull Review Poor This weak sequel to 2010's 'Insidious' feels cobbled together from outtakes.
Washington PostFull Review Below Average Considering how creatively bankrupt and stylistically profligate this second installment of the franchise is, the new movie should really be called 'Insidious: Chapter 11.'
NY PostFull Review Poor 'Insidious 2' is an insipid, pointless flick.
