Horror - Like the first film, this is a supernatural/haunted house horror
film. Despite the PG-13 rating and the lack of graphic violence, the
film is much too intense and scary for children, especially with one
of the main characters being a kid. All of the cast from the first
film return, so fans should be pleased.
USA TodayFull Review Poor This weak sequel to 2010's 'Insidious' feels cobbled together from outtakes.
Entertainment WeeklyFull Review Below Average Considering how creatively bankrupt and stylistically profligate this second installment of the franchise is, the new movie should really be called 'Insidious: Chapter 11.'
NY PostFull Review Poor 'Insidious 2' is an insipid, pointless flick.

OPINION OVERVIEW The following is the original "What's Worth
Watching" write-up for this movie.
Based on a theater exit polling of 21 moviegoers:
TEENS:Four of the five males loved "Insidious: Chapter 2." Nearly all the females either loved this movie or enjoyed it very much.
TWENTYSOMETHINGS:The one male rated it above average. The one female rated it just average. Obviously, these two reviews aren't going to tell you much about the quality of this movie.
ADULTS:Two males loved it and two rated it above average. Two females loved it and two just rated it average, which is a bit disappointing but not bad.
