Storyline Heading
Katniss Everdeen has returned home safe after winning the 74th Annual Hunger Games along with fellow tribute Peeta Mellark. Winning means that they must turn around and leave their family and close friends, embarking on a "Victor's Tour" of the districts. Along the way Katniss senses that a rebellion is simmering, but the Capitol is still very much in control as President Snow prepares the 75th Annual Hunger Games (The Quarter Quell) -- a competition that could change Panem forever.

Movie Type (Genre) Heading
Adventure Sci-Fi Action - Like the first film, this is based on the young adult sci-fi action series, and while blood is kept to a minimum, there is a lot of violence and intense/scary sequences that make the film inappropriate for young children. There aren't as many kids in dangerous and violent situations in this film as in the first. There is some mild language. Fans of returning leads Josh Hutcherson and especially Jennifer Lawrence will be pleased.

OPINION OVERVIEW
The following is the original "What's Worth Watching" write-up for this movie.

Moviegoer Opinions:

Based on a theater exit polling of 172 moviegoers:
FANTASTIC REVIEWS from younger moviegoers. GREAT REVIEWS from adults. The adult reviews aren't quite as high due to the larger percentage of "Very Good" and the few "Good" reviews. Still, it's clear this is a movie most enjoyed very much or loved.
